Cooking 'ulu is very simple - it's like a HUGE potato! Here is are a few pages from the Farm to Keiki book to help you out. Have fun and eat well!
'Ulu can be eaten plain or cooking in dishes. My favorites are 'Ulu Mashers, steamed 'ulu with Hawaiian sea salt (as a complex carbohydrate for the meal), 'ulu lasagna (use for the noodles), 'ulu curry or stew, 'ulu fries... and the list goes on!
